Dog Days Of Summer!

Went to the park to try for a carp and got skunked.  Talked to a guy named Andy and he caught this nice bass on a spinner bait.  Great job!  

                                     

Cuyahoga River In The Heat!

Took the ultralight gear, wee craws and small plastics, to the Cuyahoga just off Route 8. Lots of little dink smallies like below.  They were good game considering the high temps, and full sun.  The second photo shows how a section of Route 8 sits right on top of bare rock!   

Rachel standing on this row of cement platforms which were great to cast from.  Looks like a great spot to high stick with your fly rod bc you can stand right over the hole without casting!
