Wow! Even with a full blown drought all summer steelhead are entering the rivers. Half a dozen were electroshocked this week at the marina, which is a stones throw away from the first riffle. You won't see em or even catch em on these sunny warm days , but they are there! Check this out!

"Ohio Grassman"
- Last week Big Dan and myself walked the Chagrin River to see what it looks like with no flow bc of the drought. Managed a couple smallies and a rock bass. We found an unusual footprint that was fresh in the mud along the river. Just one wet print, that's it. The animal that made this print had a long stride bc the next step would have been up a high bank approximately 6 feet from the water.
After I looked at this picture that was taken shortly before we came upon the above foot print- I noticed a ape-like figure appear to be in the water where we found that print. I believe this to be a one of a kind photo of " The Ohio Grassman !"
