First fish of the new year.  Nice carp caught on ultralight using Velveeta Cheese and a floating jig head.  Area 51 warm water discharge!

Here is the story I love to hate.  Bass guys love to tell you about all the muskie and pike they catch by accident.  Well, it's true.  Deputy Schoeppner was out on Lake Milton fishing for bass in 6ft of water and bam!  Wow, what a monster muskie!  Great catch and release!

Moonie was catching lots of  Tuscarawas River smallies this weekend. The flow was perfect and the sun warmed the water to a feeding frenzy!

Chagrin River Report!

They're finally back.  Steelhead have begun their fall migration up the Lake Erie Tributaries.  Got out today to float some flies on the center pin reel.  Water is low and clear.  Only saw one other fish caught in 6 hrs- it was about 10 miles upstream.  Mine was caught about 2 miles upstream.
  

Land em fast and wet-- they will shoot right back to the hole to be caught another day!   

Atwood Lake Report!

Now that all the tubers and party boats are off the lake for the season- it's time to catch some fish!
Michael and Gary were on the catfish this week.  About 7-8 channel cats were landed on chicken livers from Uncle Michael's pontoon!
