Fall Smallies!

Still walking the Tusc. looking for monster pike.  Had to settle for this smallie.  If it quits raining on the weekend then the steelhead game is on!   

Here is a close up of a tiny "pencil" pike that hit a copper spoon.  Still has a mouth full of teeth, and it hit that spoon Sat in 35 mph wind gusts.

Weekend Results!

All Lake Erie tributaries were blown out again from the rain.  Should be a great fall with all this cool rain we have been getting.  A kid caught a nice steelhead 15 miles up the Rocky River-(Rocky R. Fishing Report)- this week on ultralight gear smallie fishing.  Temps today were around 45 degrees with on and off rain. Had to keep it local. Big Dan pounded the creek smallies, crappie, bluegill, and rock bass on little spinners!  

I caught one too!
