"Hard Water Report"

Ice fishing is in full swing on all lakes and ponds,  remember there is no such thing as safe ice. Noah  wins the big fish of the day contest with a jumbo perch!

No fish camp is complete without a great cook.  Buckeye Steve cooks up some deer tenderloin steaks, eggs, and hot coffee while Seth waits in line!

Spike Kayak's WMD Steelhead Streamers!

Here is a six pack of Spikes streamers.  One of these, he would't say which one, brought in the only steelhead on the fly for the creekkids this fall.  These are meant to be swung through deep holes to bring up the player steelhead.  When swinging streamers use a shorter leader -7ft, stronger tippet 10lb, and let the current swing the fly down stream and pause at the end before lifting your rod and repeating.  Be patient , keep a tight line, and sooner or later a player male will  smack it hard to protect it's territory.
