The Tuscarawas River was on fire and Rainbows in an unmentionable stream.

Got out on Memorial Day to enjoy our freedom!  Always remember the thousands of men and women who "gave all" and will never enjoy what we take for granted!

Big Dan  crushed the pike today on tube baits!

Nice shot of the Water Wolf!

Another one!

Lake size smallie!

Smashed this large bait fish pattern!

Also, a couple rainbows on the fly from ...ahhh... can't give out the location!

Rocky River Report

Was able to get one male from a slow deep pool on the Rocky River Monday!  These cold days have kept the fish in winter mode.  Good news is the fishing should last well into May!  Water temp. was in low to mid 40's today.  Fish should move into the shallows as water rises and stays in the 50's.

Chagrin River Report!

Saturday the river was full of slush and crickkids! If it was easy Big Dan wouldn't  have this pool of slush to himself.  The Chagrin was freezing with less than a foot of visibility.

Spike stays warm on the bank with a cigar!

Jeff the Nomad shows us how to get in done under tough conditions.  Jeff came down from Michigan to fish Friday and Saturday.  He brought  the only fish to the net on Saturday.

Dan with his first spring fish from Friday afternoon!

Steelhead Report!

Sunday afternoon on the Chagrin River brought lots of snow, slush, and numb fingers.  Able to get one player on the fly!

Coldest river conditions I have ever fished in.  Expect fish to move up into shallow water any time we have a couple day warming trend (40's and above with some sun) .  Its game on now until the end of May!
